What does a bumper stand for?

The seller must show each included position, and the service must confirm its compliance with the car. The photo of the installed bumper on the donor does not confirm the composition of the package.

Body and equipment should be checked together

For the hood, door or trunk lid, check whether a bare panel or a set with internal elements is purchased. Check the catalog number and the intended installation locations. When ordering parts around cameras and sensors, discuss with the service subsequent settings and checks. The presence of a hole or similar attachment does not prove compatibility. If you plan to change the appearance, make a separate project of the kit: repair to the original state and re-equipment require different specifications.

How to watch the used body parts

Ask for photos of both sides of the panel, edges, mounting points and markings. Separately, you need pictures of dents, cracks, traces of repair and areas covered with decorative linings. Indicate whether repainting is permissible and what defects exclude the purchase. Coincidence of the name of the color does not guarantee the coincidence of the shade with your machine. For carbon elements, one photo of the front surface is not enough; the admissibility of repair and final suitability is evaluated by a specialist.

Gather an order by stage of repair

Divide the positions necessary to start the assembly and those that can be installed later. Do not pay for the transportation of a large set, while the key missing part remains unconfirmed. If different sellers are used, agree on the marking of each item and the list of cargo items. For the Moscow service, the table “Article – quantity – completeness – photo – status” is useful. It helps to reconcile the departure and not to confuse similar right and left elements.

Packaging and acceptance in the Moscow service

Large panels require edge protection and fixation from movement.
